In this role you will work with our night shift management team providing support and coordination to ensure smooth operations of our night shift.
A few of the areas you will help support or coordinate are Payroll/Scheduling- approving weekly hours for Production employees.
Keeping track of the monthly calendar for paid time off to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Also, working in our Paylocity payroll/hris system regarding activities for night shift employees.
Documentation and Record-Keeping - providing support to the night shift management team regarding keeping/maintaining up-to-date production records and production reports.
Communication and Correspondence- facilitate effective written/verbal communication within the Production and Support departments.
Draft and distribute written communication to all shifts and departments in the Operations area.
Data Entry and Analysis- enter Production data into databases, spreadsheets, or other software systems.
Support Department Liaison/Team Support- act as contact for Support Department questions/concerns.
Work with Support Department employees to understand challenges and bring them to night shift management.
Help foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
Work with Human Resources to onboard new night shift employees.
Safety and Compliance- assist in maintaining a safe working environment by ensuring employee's compliance with internal safety policies, conducting safety audits, and participating in safety training initiatives.
Help coordinate safety meetings and inspections and assist in implementing safety improvement measures.
Requirements:
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to learn new cloud-based software systems.
Previous experience coordinating activities for several groups.
Previous experience with influencing without authority.
