Patient Coordinator Manager

This position works under the direction of the Business Operations Administrator to assist with optimizing workflow and efficient completion of orders for patients.
The Patient Coordinator Manager will also manage, encourage, and empower the Patient Coordinator Team to best serve our patients.
DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the Business Operations Administrator to recruit, mentor, and train new employees in the performance of their duties by establishing a clear training scheduling, setting goals, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues in a timely and constructive manner.
Effectively address employee issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Evaluate the patient coordinator's policies and procedures to ensure they achieve practice goals and are as streamlined as possible.
Works with Business Operations Administrator to identify areas of improvement, efficiency, and standardization.
Effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient's orders to increase efficiency and quality of services.
Effectively addresses patient complaints, issues, or concerns in regard to orders the Patient Coordinators are responsible for.
Maintain effective, cooperative work relationships both internally and externally as it relates to the operation and business of Albany ENT & Allergy Services.
High school degree or equivalent required, Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
Minimum six to eight years of related experience in a healthcare environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three to five years of previous management/supervisory experience required.
Able to manage employees in both a remote and in-person capacity.
Able to analyze and use data for decision making.
Ability to identify problems and find creative, effective solutions.
Proficient computer skills including ability to master the EHR and practice management software; Experience with NextGen preferred.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills in all interactions and communications with patients and their families, co-workers inter and intra departmentally, and visitors; demonstrate ability to be professional in all interactions.
